About

Bernard L. “Buddy” Trinkle
President & CEO
Bernard L. “Buddy” Trinkle has been the heart and soul of Trinkle Design Associates since he established the company in 1988 in a historic building in East Providence that received a beautification award after it was renovated into offices and a showroom. First and foremost, Buddy takes a personal interest in his clients. He is the person you will come to know best and first-hand when you deal with Trinkle Design.
Buddy, as a child, learned the floor covering business by his father’s side – Murray Trinkle, who owned Alberts Floor Covering – where Buddy was taught to prepare materials for projects and observe methods of installation by watching crews do their work. Father and son would also take trips to the textile mills in South Carolina.
Over more than 50 years, Buddy has learned all of the nuances of the floor covering industry and made extensive contacts while being closely involved in two prior businesses, Murray Trinkle Floor Covering and Andreozzi & Trinkle. If he doesn’t have an immediate solution to your problem, he can find it soon among his extensive sources for products and information.
A marketing graduate of Bryant University and a certified independent inspector for floor covering, Buddy has a lifetime of knowledge of the floor covering business. He will bring all of his expertise and experience to bear on your project as one of the most authoritative experts in the field.
